Real conversations instead of clicks

Attending job fairs in spring 2025 …

The spring 2025 job fair season! In the coming weeks, we will be attending three job fairs: Industry Day in Esslingen, the Schmalkalden University Job Fair, and the fibit.karriere fair in Fulda at the beginning of June. Why do we still do this in the age of online job exchanges, career networks, and video calls? We are looking for human contact!

Noisy exhibition halls, lots of conversations, stacks of business cards… Sound like a thing of the past? Not for us. On the contrary. We love getting to know real personalities in the hustle and bustle of a fair. A direct exchange of views at the stand, perhaps over a cup of coffee, allows us to form an opinion about our conversation partner in a matter of minutes, and vice versa. No video conference can compare to that.

Online applications, profiles, and click statistics can say a lot, but they don’t tell the whole story. We want to meet the people behind the résumés, hear their questions, and talk about topics that go beyond the job profile. A handshake and an honest conversation often tell us more than a thousand data points in a recruiting tool. That’s why we like to invest time in personal encounters. For us, the focus is on the person, not the online profile.

Culture is not what is written on the website, but what you feel. We don’t just talk about our values! And that’s exactly what you should be able to feel at the trade fair. Every company can say a lot about its culture. We prefer to show what makes us tick.

At the trade fair booth, you will mainly meet colleagues from the specialist departments. People who shape our everyday work and are happy to share their insights. This gives you an authentic impression: How do we interact with each other? What are we passionate about?

What does a “family-like working atmosphere” mean for us in concrete terms?

  • We trust new team members from day one. Interns are therefore allowed to take on their own projects early on, always with the support of the team, of course.
  • We treat each other as equals. Job titles are secondary to us; every opinion counts, from working students to management.
  • We cultivate a family atmosphere. Whether in everyday project work or at the annual ski event, team spirit and fun are never in short supply.

All of this is difficult to put into words, so we prefer to show it. At the trade fair, you can experience us as we are: open, authentic, and passionate about what we do.

Mechanics, electronics, or software—everyone is welcome

We appeal to everyone: working students, young professionals, and experienced specialists alike. And that’s regardless of whether your heart beats for mechanics, electronics, or software development. Engineers and developers from all disciplines work hand in hand in our teams. This diversity is what sets us apart, and we can use reinforcement in many areas.

Whether you are still studying, just starting your career, or already have years of experience, just stop by our booth. We will be happy to take the time to talk to you, no matter what you want to know.

Sounds interesting? Then come and see us: May 14 at the Esslingen Industry Day, May 20 and 21 at the Schmalkalden Career Fair, and June 5 at fibit.karriere in Fulda. No matter where, we look forward to talking to you in person!
