We are pooling expertise, building capacity, and bringing development services closer to our customers with quality and responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>We can now provide an update that clearly shows why we took this step, because work has long been underway in Pune. Specifically, on products that are intended for the Indian market and must function there under real-world conditions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PORTABLE DIAGNOSTICS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are currently developing three key components for an Indian customer:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a CGM system for continuous glucose monitoring<\/li>\n<li>a blood pressure monitor<\/li>\n<li>a vital signs system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The combination of these three tasks is not a random set of individual devices. The idea behind it is a \u201cbasic toolkit\u201d for modern, portable diagnostics with a vision: measurement in everyday life, data transmission, evaluation\u2014by algorithms, doctors\u2014and direct feedback to people who are unsure whether they really need medical help.<\/p>\n<p>Does that sound like telemedicine? To be honest, that&#8217;s only partly true. At its core, it&#8217;s about something very practical. People should be able to get clarity faster! The aim is to relieve the burden on healthcare systems by reducing unnecessary trips and appointments without compromising safety.<\/p>\n<p>India is not a market where existing medical technology can simply be \u201crolled out.\u201d Different conditions apply there, which directly challenge many assumptions made in Europe:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fluctuating power supply<\/li>\n<li>High temperatures and humidity<\/li>\n<li>Dust, vibration, transport stresses<\/li>\n<li>limited maintenance and service infrastructure<\/li>\n<li>users with very different levels of prior knowledge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If a device runs stably there, it is a technical statement. We are talking about devices that are robust, understandable, low-maintenance, and cleanly designed. We can relate to that; it fits in with our general standards.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201cThis makes \u2018Made in India\u2019 a requirement.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the project, we feel very clearly that the market wants products that are developed and produced in India. This is both a desire and an expectation. In practice, this results in a real development task, especially in procurement. There are only a few suppliers in India for certain special components, and some things are hardly available locally. This leads to additional work, design decisions, and very direct discussions with suppliers and customers. This is when it becomes clear whether a team really thinks systemically; requirements, availability, costs, quality, risk\u2014everything is interconnected.<\/p>\n<p>In Pune, we have a compact, highly specialized team working in electronics, software, app development, mechanics, system\/requirement engineering, risk management, and project management.<\/p>\n<p>It is important to note that operational development also takes place directly in Pune. We create the framework conditions and provide targeted advice on normative and medical technology issues. <strong>This is exactly the line we have taken from the very beginning! No relocation at any price, no pure processing<\/strong>. Instead, clear responsibility, clear quality, clear roles, linked by common standards.<\/p>\n<p>Incidentally, the customer came to us via a company in the regulatory environment. Trust is built when several things come together\u2014engineering culture, experience in regulated markets, and the ability to structure development cycles so that systems are quickly ready for series production. In medical technology in particular, what counts in the end is what works in the field. And what has been cleanly documented and developed in a traceable manner.<\/p>\n<p>These three products are a starting point. More are to follow as part of a growing modular system. With this modular system, we are talking about bringing diagnostics and data usage together.<\/p>\n<p>Our goal of developing Indian products for Indian customers and patients remains constant. With teams that understand the market. With development that works under real-world conditions.
